Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky (PAACK) is a growing group of artists that come together with a common love of nature and art. The group was formed in 2014 with eight people and continues to grow.
The group meets twice each month at locations across Central Kentucky to paint, create, explore, support, and encourage one another as they strengthen their artistic skills.

Relax. Not because art should be easy, but because creativity has a way of finding us when we stop trying to control it. That’s the idea behind this exhibit.
Rhonda Gilliam brings her process front and center for this exhibit, sharing moments captured in painting, sketches, doodles, and conversations between herself and the page.
She shares the exploration, questions, and wandering moments when creativity is simply allowed to flow.

Fern Featured Artist

Diana Kestly
Diana Kestly is a local artist who finds joy in the art of jewelry making, sketching, painting, and photography. She has worked in commercial design, tradeshow exhibit design, and architectural design.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design, graduating in industrial design.
Her work will be featured at Fern Curated Gifts, 409 W. Main Street, throughout the month of August. Open Monday – Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.

July is the start of a new year for us here at the Art Center, and with that new year come some changes to our Board of Directors. Thanks to our outgoing board members: President Mary Conley, Vice President Amy Isola, and board members Margaret Levi, Peter Haffner, Allen Martin, and Patrick Martin. Thank you all for your years of service and heartfelt support!
Stepping into leadership roles on our board will be Dan Nolet as Board President, Jonas Hurley as Board Vice President, Jim Lockard will remain as Board Secretary, and Jamie Votaw will be our new Board Treasurer.
