48th Annual Constitution 5K Run for the Arts
Registration is now open!
Come on out and Run for the Arts with us on Sunday, September 13. The race starts at 5 pm with a course that traverses downtown Danville, beginning at Constitution Square and ending at Wiesiger Park!
This fundraiser benefits the Art Center and helps us live our mission of connecting all people to art, culture and creativity!
Homeschool Art Club
Registration is now open for our popular Homeschool Art Club! We make it easy and affordable to include arts education in the homeschool curriculum with a weekly class taught by certified arts educator Dionna Baker. The semester begins September 2.
Students will learn about famous artists, what inspired them, and create work in the style of those icons of art! Drop-ins are welcome for individual classes – receive one class for free when you register for the entire semester! Sign up today!

Classes and Workshops for ADULTS
Creating Pottery for the Anagama Kiln
Join us for this six-week class, as we prepare for the October firing of the Dragon Fire Anagama kiln. Learn wheel-throwing, trimming, and forming techniques using a special clay body designed for atmospheric wood firing.
Participants must be able to center 5 lbs of clay. This class is for Intermediate and Advanced potters. Instructed by Jonas Hurley.

Give it a Spin Pottery Workshop
Wondering what it’s like to throw clay on the wheel? Give it a spin!
This hands-on class will teach the basics of centering and pulling walls on the wheel – no experience needed – just bring your willingness to learn something new!

Bob Ross Painting Class
Join certified Bob Ross instructor Shane Morrow for our monthly Bob Ross Painting Class. Learn the wet-on-wet oil painting technique made famous by Ross, in a supportive, hands-on class.
All materials are included – no experience required!

Mosaic Workshop

Create a fun and funky piece of home decor in this beginning mosaic workshop.
Registration includes all materials, including one 8″ wooden letter cutout and a dazzling array of glass and ceramic tiles, and a take-home grout kit.

Our monthly guided painting workshop for kids is back! Join us on the first Saturday of every month for Cookies & Canvas, a hands-on workshop for kids.

Mini Makers Club is back! Every Friday, beginning August 7, and the first Saturday of every month is time for Mini Makers Club.
