In Danville, we are blessed with a professional performing arts center, but we have many types of artists. The Community Arts Center fills the void for a variety of arts and artists, giving them a local venue for sharing the many talents of Boyle County. The Arts Center’s exhibits are both aesthetically pleasing as well as educational.
I am an artist and being able to exhibit works of mine, alongside my peers, has sparked new interest for me. I have begun to paint again after 40 years of just day to day business routine, and have a painting on exhibit at the Arts Center at this time. I am sure that the Community Arts Center will create that same spark in our youth. Our children can learn to experiment with new art forms and techniques, or even go into the art field.
I am proud to have the Community Arts Center in Danville – a place to go see different works of art, as well as to enjoy the hard work that I see going into each exhibit by the staff.
Thanks,
Allen Arth
