A Word from David Farmer

“When the Community Arts Center first opened, I occupied a studio as the Artist in Residence. In that role, I had the unique opportunity to see the Arts Center grow and flourish. During the nearly 5 years of my residency, I developed a very rewarding relationship and acquaintance with hundreds of people–many who were visitors from out of the area.

David Farmer“It was an association made possible through the attraction and accessibility of the Arts Center, where a constant and varied series of art activities were offered. The numerous, innovative programs and events have always been structured to provide opportunity for involvement for people of different ages and interests. Moreover, the very creative and obvious enthusiasm of staff and volunteers is evident and establishes a welcoming ambiance for all who visit.

“Speaking for myself and the many family members who benefit from the Arts Center, we consider the Community Arts Center to be a most positive and unique asset to the community.”
