Summer is the best time of year. Not just because I am a biased college kid that will be out of school in a few short days, but there are so many awesome things that I got to do last summer that I am excited are coming up again. The Great American Brass Band Festival is coming up in just a few short weeks, and part of that is the Community Arts Center’s Wagon’s & Wheels contest. I helped put on this remarkable event last year and I had a ton of fun doing it!

Some of these wagons are incredibly creative, I was impressed by all the hard work that the parents and children put into their floats this year. I mean the ‘I Think I Can’ Train blew bubbles out of it’s chimney, and the Duck Commander float hat matching hats and shirts. Talk about dedication! I am really looking forward to seeing what people come up with this year! (Register now so you can get started on your float!)
