He is known in the Somerset area for his wide range of artistic talents: musician, sculptor, writer, actor, painter. In all of these artistic efforts, I have been drawn on more than one occasion to his hands. As he gets lost in his music, his head cocked, his mouth pursed in concentration, Bradley’s hands pound their magic. In the midst of this pounding rhythm, there are no boundaries, no limitations to freedom of expression, no waiting for others to go first. Subtle intonations remind the listener that Bradley can simply “be.” He answers to no one when he plays his drums. And he can veer from the predicted path of social expectation to be his own person.
