The basement of the Art Center is home to a large ceramics studio. We host regular classes for children and adults – including hand-built pottery, wheel-thrown pottery, and ceramic sculpture – and also offer a studio membership program.
The Art Center uses an online system called Amilia to process our registrations. The embedded store below works best with the Chrome browser. It will not work with Safari. If you have any trouble registering, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Art Center of the Bluegrass appreciates the continuing situation with the COVID-19 virus. In response to this and other life situations, the Art Center continues to offer low cost classes with high quality instructors. For all programming, our new policy in regards to refunds is the following: With a doctor’s note, we will provide a full credit for classes that are missed. If you miss one class in a multi-week class, we are unable to provide a credit for that class. Another option for you is to donate your class credit to our scholarship fund for children’s programming. We are unable to provide cash or credit card refunds. Thank you for understanding.
The Art Center of the Bluegrass welcomes up to 15 experienced potters as members of our communal Ceramics Studio. Interested potters must complete at least two full-length (6 or 7 week) classes at the Art Center in either hand-building or wheel-throwing with one of our instructors or submit examples of work and a description of relevant experience before applying for membership.
The monthly membership fee of $50 provides access to the Arts Center’s Ceramics Studio, use of communal tools and glazes, and access to our kiln. Firing fees are assessed based on weight of pieces. To find out more and request an application, contact Niki Kinkade – email@example.com.
