Open Studio: Connections
Wednesdays, January 25 – February 22, 2023
Join us for Gallery Open Studio sessions for adults with disabilities & their care partners.
Each consecutive session meets on Wednesdays from 5 – 6pm.
What to expect:
The Open Studio Sessions will take place in the Grand Hall. Tables will be set up for participants.
There will be an instructor, who has a special education background, who will introduce the materials and guide artists through the process of creating art. All projects and mediums revolve around freedom of expression and using the materials will be the focus of each session.
Artists are welcome to stay for the full hour and to get up and move around the Gallery as desired. We encourage everyone to experience the show.
The accessible bathrooms are in the Grand Hall. We will have paper towels & wet wipes available.
There is no cost to attend any of the Open Studio sessions thanks to a grant from the Hudson Ellis Foundation

Open Studio Connections: Brush and Ink
Wednesday, January 25, 2023 | 5:00pm – 6:00 pm
Open to ages 16+
India Ink is the medium for the first session. The instructor will show participants how to use the materials and will support artists throughout the session. India Ink is a great material to use, creating bold lines and movement in the artwork. Everyone can feel successful with this medium.
Open Studio Connections: Watercolor Painting
