ART Box + ART kits
Social emotional development is a critical need for young children. The past few years have been times of unprecedented stress and isolation, the impact of which is felt by every member of our community, but especially by children. Children benefit from the mind-body connection inherent in the creative process and that art, when combined with reading, can become a powerful tool for emotional development. This is why the Art Center has created the I am Love art kit, featuring a book, finger puppet, art project & supplies, and an interactive guide for parents/teachers. You can purchase the I am Love kit at Fern Curated Gifts and teachers have a significantly discounted rate per kit.
We offer hands-on exhibit field trips and classroom enrichment activities for students in Central Kentucky. Our field trips provide a robust, standards-aligned educational experience for students. Students will enjoy a guided exploration of the exhibit, facilitated by an arts educator, and will also respond artistically to the exhibit. We also offer in-school field trips, and recorder painting classes for in-class enrichment.
