September at the Art Center
Run for the Arts

The 48th Annual Run for the Arts is September 13
We are just weeks away from the 48th Annual Constitution 5K Run for the Arts!
Started in 1978 by a group of running enthusiasts in Danville, it was sponsored by the local newspaper and followed the Constitution Square Festival, which always falls on the second weekend of September. At that time, the festival was two days, ending with the race on Sunday.
In the mid 2000s, the race became a fundraiser for the Art Center, and since that time has raised tens of thousands of dollars to help support our mission of connecting all people to art, culture and creativity! Thank you!
Run, walk, skip or just come and cheer on Sunday, September 13.
Free Community Events are Back!

Lunch with the Arts, Poetry Connected, and Mini Makers Club are opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy arts programming free of charge.
