Lunch with the Arts
Join Jonas Hurley for an informative Lunch with the Arts, as he discusses the history of anagama kilns, the history of the kiln built in Danville by Mack Jackson, Stephen Powell, and Centre College students, and the restoration project that has led to a functioning anagama, dubbed the Dragon Fire Anagama Kiln.

Homeschool Art Club
Homeschool Art Club begins on September 2! We make it easy and affordable to include arts education in the homeschool curriculum with a weekly class taught by certified arts educator Dionna Baker.

48th Annual Constitution 5K Run for the Arts
Registration is now open, so come on out and Run for the Arts with us on Sunday, September 13!
The race starts at 5 pm with a course that traverses downtown Danville, beginning at Constitution Square and ending at Wiesiger Park!
All funds raised at Run for the Arts benefit the Art Center and help us live our mission of connecting all people to art, culture and creativity!

Inspired by “Observing the Light: Painting Outside with the Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky” on exhibit in our Grand Hall Gallery, Poetry Connected is a time to share and enjoy a poem or piece of prose.
Come see the exhibit, then write something inspired by your visit. Join us for this free community experience, whether you’d like to share a poem or just want to listen.

Building on the success of the Silent Reading Party, we’re excited to bring you the Cozy Coloring + Audiobook party!
We’ll provide cozy coloring sheets from Coco Wyo, plus all the supplies you need to decorate them. Bring along your earbuds and your favorite audiobook (or music or podcast) and listen while you color, surrounded by like-minded creatives.
