Volunteer

Whether you’re interested in kids programming, arts outreach, or just spending the morning greeting visitors, we’ve got a volunteer position that’s right for you. Contact Christina Browning (christina@artcenterky.org or 859.236.4054) to find out more about volunteer opportunities.

Depending on what type of volunteer work you’ll be doing, you may be required to get a criminal background check. Please refer to our Background Check Policy.

field trips

We welcome over 1,000 students each year for field trips. There are two components to field trips: the Gallery Walk where students view the exhibit and discuss the art, and the Art Project where students create their own original artwork. Volunteers are needed for both! Obviously, you need to be good with kids. Former educators are warmly welcome.

outreach

We love participating in community events and sharing information about arts programming with new audiences. But we can’t do it alone. If you’re a people-person who enjoys being an ambassador for a great cause, then we want you!
